Ambatzidou Ioanna 

graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2008 and received her degree in Physical Education with specialization in Special Physical Education. She worked in sports organizations such as ALMA, ARION CHANION, AETOI THESSALONIKIS and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). In 2020 she received her degree as a Yoga teacher and in 2023 she received her MSc in Adapted Physical Education from the Democritus University of Thrace. She holds a certificate of advanced training in play therapy, TEACCH structured training certificate, Therapeutic Riding – Equestrian Therapy seminar certificate, safety supervisor certificate from the Macedonian Lifeguard School, seminar on learning methods of swimming and hydrotherapy for people with disabilities.
 From 2002 to 2009 she volunteered with disabled people, both in structures (ELEPAP, KEPEPEP etc.) and in summer camps. Since 2021 she has been working at the KDAP-mea “Action for Something Else” as a gymnast in the structure. She is a Boccia coach at AETOUS THESSALONIKIS and a personal trainer for people with disabilities. In recent years she has participated in many conferences on the inclusion of people with disabilities through sport. She speaks English, German and holds a Braille certificate.
