Ambatzidou Ioanna 

grad­u­at­ed from the Aris­to­tle Uni­ver­si­ty of Thes­sa­loni­ki in 2008 and received her degree in Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion with spe­cial­iza­tion in Spe­cial Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion. She worked in sports orga­ni­za­tions such as ALMA, ARION CHANION, AETOI THESSALONIKIS and the Inter­na­tion­al Orga­ni­za­tion for Migra­tion (IOM). In 2020 she received her degree as a Yoga teacher and in 2023 she received her MSc in Adapt­ed Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion from the Dem­ocri­tus Uni­ver­si­ty of Thrace. She holds a cer­tifi­cate of advanced train­ing in play ther­a­py, TEACCH struc­tured train­ing cer­tifi­cate, Ther­a­peu­tic Rid­ing — Eques­tri­an Ther­a­py sem­i­nar cer­tifi­cate, safe­ty super­vi­sor cer­tifi­cate from the Mace­don­ian Life­guard School, sem­i­nar on learn­ing meth­ods of swim­ming and hydrother­a­py for peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties.
 From 2002 to 2009 she vol­un­teered with dis­abled peo­ple, both in struc­tures (ELEPAP, KEPEPEP etc.) and in sum­mer camps. Since 2021 she has been work­ing at the KDAP-mea “Action for Some­thing Else” as a gym­nast in the struc­ture. She is a Boc­cia coach at AETOUS THESSALONIKIS and a per­son­al train­er for peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties. In recent years she has par­tic­i­pat­ed in many con­fer­ences on the inclu­sion of peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties through sport. She speaks Eng­lish, Ger­man and holds a Braille cer­tifi­cate.
