Alexandros Rogkotis

Alexan­dros Rogo­tis was born in Thes­sa­loni­ki in 1987.

He first stud­ied Plant Pro­duc­tion Tech­nol­o­gist at the Alexan­der Tech­no­log­i­cal Edu­ca­tion­al Insti­tute of Thes­sa­loni­ki, from which he grad­u­at­ed in 2010. He then stud­ied Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­o­gy Appli­ca­tions Tech­ni­cian at the Evening Voca­tion­al High School (EPAL) of Stavroupoli, grad­u­at­ing in 2019. In addi­tion, he stud­ied Elec­tron­ics and Com­put­er Sys­tems, Instal­la­tions Tech­ni­cian at the same school, from which he grad­u­at­ed in 2021. In 2022, he attend­ed a six-month sem­i­nar on pro­gram­ming titled Cod­ing Fac­to­ry at the Athens Uni­ver­si­ty of Eco­nom­ics and Busi­ness. Final­ly, he is cur­rent­ly attend­ing online cours­es in Robot­ics.

He has worked in the Green Depart­ment of the Munic­i­pal­i­ty of Thes­sa­loni­ki, as well as at the IT com­pa­ny Byte Com­put­er. Lat­er, he worked for the Social Coop­er­a­tive Enter­prise (Koi.S.P.E.) of West­ern Thes­sa­loni­ki, and he is cur­rent­ly employed by Loud Art & Inclu­sion.

He is an active track and field ath­lete, par­tic­i­pat­ing in shot put and dis­cus throw, as well as a bas­ket­ball play­er for the AmeA Aetoi Thes­sa­lonikis team (Ath­letes with Dis­abil­i­ties). Pre­vi­ous­ly, he was a mem­ber of the AmeA Philip­pos Thes­sa­lonikis team.

He has par­tic­i­pat­ed in var­i­ous choirs and dance groups in Thes­sa­loni­ki, such as the Folk­lore Asso­ci­a­tion of Cre­tans of Thes­sa­loni­ki “Ta Agrim­ia”, Chorostasi Thes­sa­lonikis, and the Dance Group of AmeA Philip­pos Thes­sa­lonikis.

He loves vol­un­teer­ing and has offered his ser­vices at the SOS Children’s Vil­lage in Pla­gia­ri, as well as at Loud Art & Inclu­sion. He also serves as a boc­cia sports assis­tant for the Aetoi Thes­sa­lonikis team.
